Q: Near,
Did you ever think of doing something other then being the worlds greatest detective as your life career?

A: "No. I have never given it much thought, since there was not much chance of it not happening in some way or another."

Q: Do you think you'll ever have to solve a case that could be as big and bad as/or could top the Kira case you solved?

A: There will always be cases that will be considered tough. However, the Kira case was one of the largest criminal disasters, which could happen again."

Q: What is your favorite food to eat and why? (besides Lego’s, lol... jk!)

A: "I do not have a favorite food. I enjoy most foods, though I do not feel it necessary to publicize my eating habits."

Q: What are your thoughts on L's eating habits being nothing but sugar?

A: "L is free to make his own dietary choices."

Q: Do you miss L after his death?

A: "L was a human being, and therefore would have died at some point. Regardless of what thoughts or feelings a person has, the dead are dead."

Q: What was L to you personally? (a brother, Father, Teacher, Friend, Love…?)

A: "The closest word to what L was to me would be Teacher."

Q: Do you miss Mello after his death?

A: "Everyone dies. The dead will always be dead, and no amount of emotional wishing or wondering will bring them back."

A: "By the definition of friendship, I do not think we count. This also goes for lover, brother, enemy, school friend, and the rest. There are few words adequate enough to describe what we could be called."

Q: Hello Near! I've been wondering this ever since I first saw you... How do you keep your clothes so white? I mean, you sit on the floor a lot, and you must get dirty sometimes... Do you use tide to go?

A: "I keep the areas in which I live as clean as possible. Therefore, there is rarely ever any dirt."

Q: I know this may be a personal question, but when you were in Wammy's house, when you were little or even recently, have you ever been sad or wondering who your parents were? I mean I know you never knew them but I guess it must be saddening...

A: "It is natural for a human being to question the unknown, particularly if such an unknown variable exists in their personal life. However, sadness is something that if, left unchecked, can drive a human being to perform irrational behavior."

Q: Who bought you your first puzzle? I've kind thought it may have been Roger or Watari... Or was it L? Or someone totally different?

A: "I do not remember who bought me my first puzzle."

A: "Thinking on such things will not change what has already occurred."

Q: Near, what do you think of all the fanfiction and doujinshis circulating around nowadays?...I mean, pretty much whoever you're with (Mello, Matt, L, B, and even Light!), you're uke! What's your opinion on that?

A: *twirling a lock of hair* I have heard of them, but what is written is not the reality.

A: All of the different seasons have their positives and negatives.

Q: Do you have a favorite toy? If so, which one and why?

A: I like many toys, particularly ones that encourage creativity. However, if I had to choose a 'favorite' toy, it would be this robot. *Holds up the robot to show to Threshie*

Q: Have you ever been in a situation where you used your childish appearance to your advantage?

A: It is convenient when looking at toys. However, I do not 'use' it so much as people notice it.

Q:Why don't you like to go outside?

A: I prefer the indoors. I am free to go outside, but I do not see the need to do so.

4: Did you ever speak with L one-on-one, or is that rumor that you only ever spoke to him over a voice-only computer feed true?

A: That is something that I cannot answer. It is not because I do not wish to answer, but because it is yet another matter in which I am not free to discuss.

Q: What kind of advanced work did Wammy's House give you in addition to your regular schooling in preparation for becoming one of L's heirs?

A: I cannot speak openly of some of the material I was given. However, I did also follow some of the cases that L was following.

Q: Have you ever encountered a situation where logic failed to solve a problem?

A: Logic is used to solve a problem as well as to continue to function. I have experienced such a problem. However, logic dictates that functioning despite the problem is important.

Q: You ate chocolate on the anniversary of Mello's death. Why?

A: I simply wanted to.

Q: Did you like the chocolate?

A: I did not have strong feelings either way. I do not think I would eat it on a regular basis.

Q: Why is your hair white?

A: It has been white for as long as I can remember. I believe that it is naturally that way.

Q: Have you ever wished it had a different, more common color?

A: If i wished it to be naturally colored, I could always dye it. However, I do not really believe that there is anything wrong with it.

Q: What do you think about Mello and Halle's "relationship"? (the yaoi fans are going to kill me for this question XD)

A: What those two do is their decision. There are only certain circumstances that would concern me, and those are strictly professional reasons.

A: I do not place much emphasis on looks.

Q: Do you find anything amusing about the phrase "the end is near?" (You probably don't, but I thought I'd ask anyway XD.)

A: It is a phrase that is generally not used to mean anything amusing.

A: I have not eaten those particular items, though I have heard of them. As for the pictures, I do not believe that we have met.

A: I have eaten. The one instance that can be witnessed is when I ate Mello's chocolate.
